NYU Precollege is open to rising 11th and 12th grade high school students in the summer and to current 11th and 12th grade students in the fall and spring terms. a cumulative GPA of 3.0 (4.0 scale) is recommended. Applicants must be in good academic and disciplinary standing as demonstrated in their academic transcript and application.

High school students who participate in NYU Precollege demonstrate when they apply that they are ready for and committed to doing college-level work throughout the program. Admission is selective, and decisions are based on the strength of your high school academic work and your personal statement.
