Experience NYU In-Person
NYU is beginning to reopen our Campus Without Walls for in-person campus visits. We’re rolling out the purple carpet in phases for everyone’s safety and comfort, and registration will open soon for small groups and local students who wish to experience NYU in person. Keep checking this page for new and exciting opportunities, and join our mailing list to find out when you can join us here on campus!
In-Person Guided Tours
One of our NYU student ambassador tour guides will lead select groups through an outdoor tour around NYU. These smaller tours, while created with your safety in mind, make for a more personalized experience.
In-Person Visitor Guidelines
Our top priority is your safety and comfort while joining us on campus. Here’s what to expect in preparation for and during your visit:
Given the rising Covid-19 case counts in the NYC metropolitan area, New York University's visitor policy requires all campus guests to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Upon arrival, all registered guests must present a Photo ID and a proof that they meet the CDC definition of being fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Fully vaccinated means you are 2 weeks past all doses of a FDA-authorized (Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, and Johnson and Johnson (J&J)/Janssen COVID-19 vaccines) or those listed by the World Health Organization (e.g., AstraZeneca/Oxford, Sinopharm, and Sinovac). Proof of vaccination may be given in the form of the New York State Excelsior Pass, a paper copy or digital image of a guest’s vaccination card. If you are not fully vaccinated, you will not be able to participate in the guided campus tour.
What to Bring
Print out your visitor approval confirmation email from the exception request form (or be able to show that email on a mobile device).
Don’t forget to bring a mask! You’ll need to wear one during the tour and inside the Bonomi Family Admissions Center. FYI: Your guides will be masked up, too.
Who Can Join Me?
To keep everyone safe, each student may be joined by one guest over the age of 12. Unfortunately, any additional travelers may not wait in the Bonomi Family Admissions Center. (Don’t worry—there’s so much to do and see in and around our campus!)
All registered guests are welcome to use the Admissions Center restroom area to wash your hands. Sanitizer will be available throughout the space for easy access.
