There’s no better way to get the inside scoop on what it’s like to be part of the NYU community than hearing straight from the horse’s mouth. Or is that the bobcat’s mouth? Either way, come visit us and learn firsthand from current students why there’s nothing like NYU.
At all of our events, we talk about the full NYU global community, which includes our degree-granting campuses in New York City, Abu Dhabi and Shanghai. This helps set the stage for where you might find your fit globally, academically, and personally.
Here are all the ways you can visit campus:
Just about any day of the week, you (and up to two additional guests) can visit one of our two New York City locations to meet with undergraduate admissions officers and take a tour led by a current student. Sessions take about two hours. Spots fill up fast, so please register in advance.
Holiday Closing Notice:
NYU will be closed in observance of Martin Luther King Day starting Friday, January 18th at 4:00PM until 9:00AM Tuesday January 22nd and in observance of President's Day starting Friday, February 15th at 4:00PM until 9:00AM Tuesday, February 19th. Information sessions and campus tours will not be available during this time.
Drop-in Policy: Our drop-in list opens 45 minutes before each session, but does not guarantee entry into the session. If space is available, we will accommodate a maximum of two total drop-ins per party.
Looking to host a group tour? Led by our student ambassadors, groups with 15 guests or more have the opportunity to learn about NYU’s academic and student life, all while taking in the sights and sounds of our Washington Square Campus.
Group Tour Requests should be made at least 6 weeks in advance of your desired date.
Talk with student ambassadors at the NYU Welcome Center (see above for address) and get a self-guided tour map, or download a PDF.
Every year, NYU goes on a world tour. We visit dozens of cities so students like you can learn more about what our three campuses have to offer.
Every fall we host open houses for prospective students so they can meet with faculty, undergraduate admissions staff, financial aid officials, and current students. Tours of first-year residence halls are also available.
