Located in the heart of New York's Greenwich Village and Downtown Brooklyn, NYU's academic, residential, and student life facilities are found on tree-lined streets centered on Washington Square Park and MetroTech. Although there is no typical day at NYU, our students will share about some of the sites they frequent and what makes NYU the perfect place for them.

Our Washington Square Campus draws energy from the cultural and arts traditions of Greenwich Village while allowing students convenient and easy access to all New York City has to offer. You could take a class on the biology of hunger, then volunteer at the Food Bank for New York City. Or study the ins and outs of children's television, then shadow a producer at Sesame Workshop.
