Middle School Meets NYU
College Connections offers an engaging information session that exposes 5th-8th graders from middle schools and community-based organizations across the U.S. to the landscape of higher education. During this session, students will learn about why college matters, the college application process, tips for making college affordable, and things to consider when deciding which college or university is the right fit. College Connections sessions are offered in a hybrid model with limited in-person sessions.
Small groups (15-35 students) require at least one adult from the school or organization to participate. These sessions are interactive, seminar-style presentations. Large groups (35 students or more) require at least one adult per 40 students in attendance. These sessions are lecture-style presentations accompanied by a Q&A.
In-person sessions are offered twice a month on Tuesdays at 11 am EST to NYC schools and community-based organizations. Students will be guided on a campus tour and will participate in an interactive presentation. Students are required to comply with COVID-19 protocols set out by the University. For more information, please follow our latest COVID-19 updates.
