In light of COVID-19, NYU Admissions and the Bonomi Family Admissions Center will be closed to the public until further notice. All College Connections sessions will be conducted virtually.
Middle School Meets NYU
College Connections offers an engaging virtual information session that exposes middle school students (5th-8th grade) to the landscape of higher education. During this session students will learn about why college matters, the college application process, tips for making college affordable, and things to consider when deciding which college or university is the right fit.
College Connections sessions are available to middle schools and community based organizations. Starting in Spring 2022, College Connections will be offered as large and small group sessions.
Small group sessions accommodate 15-35 students and require at least one adult from your school or organization to participate. Small groups sessions are interactive, seminar-style presentations.
Large group sessions accommodate groups of 35 students or more. We require at least one adult to per 40 students in attendance to participate in large group sessions. Large group sessions are lecture-style presentations with a Q&A session that allows participants to ask questions of the presenters.
Due to high demand, we recommend submitting a request at least 4 weeks in advance of your requested session.
Based on requests received, staff reserve the right to deny requests and/or offer alternative dates that can accommodate your capacity. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Cancellation Policy: Excluding emergency situations, College Connections sessions must be cancelled three weeks in advance.
Accessibility Notice: NYU aims to have a community accessible to everyone. Should your group require accessibility arrangements please contact the NYU Moses Center for Student Accessibility (212-998-4980) at least two weeks prior to your visit.
