IT Support Request Form
The Request Form is the quickest way to reach the IT Service Desk so you can ask a question or report an issue. Form submission is monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

NYU Support Center
The Support Center is an online resources featuring a searchable self-service knowledge base of common tech problems and solutions, update about any open requests you may have, and the option to start a live chat session with an IT Service Desk agent.

Live Chat with an IT Service Desk Agent
You can use the live chat feature to connect with an NYU IT Service Desk agent as an additional tech support option in the NYU Support Center. Anytime you see a chat bubble at the lower right corner of the screen, select it to start a live agent chat. 

NYU IT Service Desk, 10 Astor Place

  • Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm ET (excluding University Holidays)
  • Open to all NYU community members
  • Appointments are recommended. Use this form to schedule a time. The Service Desk will also accept unscheduled walk-ins on a first-come-first served basis, but unscheduled visitors may need to wait if an appointment is in progress.

  • Weekdays only, during regularly scheduled hours of operation.

NYU Global Campuses

  • NYU community members at NYU Abu Dhabi can contact the IT Service Desk 24 hours a day, seven days a week by sending email to nyuad.it@nyu.edu or by calling 971-2-628-8888 (or simply 8-8888 from on-campus phones).
  • NYU Abu Dhabi IT Support Center walk-in assistance is available on the ground floor of the Campus Center (C2) building. Check the NYU Abu Dhabi Intranet for current hours (login required).
  • The Center for Academic Technology (CAT) is the one-stop-shop where NYU Abu Dhabi students, faculty, and staff can receive help with their academic technology needs. For service details, please visit the CAT website or email nyuad.it@nyu.edu.

  • NYU community members at NYU Shanghai can contact the IT Service Desk by submitting a question (including as many details as possible) using the NYU Support Center contact form, by sending email to shanghai.it.help@nyu.edu, or by calling 9-5555 (from on-campus phones) or 86-21-20595555 (from off-campus phones).
