The fastest way to get tech support is usually to search NYU ServiceLink or to call or email the IT Service Desk (details below). If in-person support in NYC is needed, book an appointment in advance to avoid a wait. Appointments are prioritized over walk-in visitors.

About the NYU IT Service Desk
Contact the IT Service Desk
New York Campus
- For help by telephone, NYU community members in New York can call 1-212-998-3333 to speak with IT Service Desk staff 24 hours a day, seven days a week. (On campus in New York, simply dial 8-3333.)
- For help online, search NYU ServiceLink or submit your question (including as many details as possible) using the Get Help from NYU IT form (NetID and password required). A representative will respond to you by email within one business day.
- In-person IT Service Desk support in NYC is available by appointment from Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm ET (excluding University Holidays). The Service Desk will also accept unscheduled walk-ins at 10 Astor Place, 4th floor on a first-come-first served basis, but unscheduled visitors may need to wait in the elevator vestibule until a support agent is available. The use of masks is encouraged, but not required.
Abu Dhabi Campus
- NYU community members at NYU Abu Dhabi can contact the IT Service Desk 24 hours a day, seven days a week by sending email to nyuad.it@nyu.edu or by calling 971-2-628-8888 (or simply 8-8888 from on-campus phones).
- NYU Abu Dhabi IT Support Center walk-in assistance is available on the ground floor of the Campus Center (C2) building. Check the NYU Abu Dhabi Intranet for current hours (login required).
- The Center for Academic Technology (CAT) is the one-stop-shop where NYU Abu Dhabi students, faculty, and staff can receive help with their academic technology needs. For service details, please visit the CAT website or email nyuad.academictech@nyu.edu.
Shanghai Campus
