Science and Technology Entry Program (STEP)
NYU's Science and Technology Entry Program (STEP) prepares New York middle and high school students for academic and career success through immersive courses and workshops on a variety of STEM subjects.
Led by NYU faculty and co-taught by NYU students, STEP offers enrichment classes, college admissions preparation workshops, project-based learning, research opportunities, and mentorship.
Through STEP, students increase their college readiness and their competitiveness for admission to selective degree programs. STEP is designed to encourage and increase the number of historically under-represented minority groups in the science, technology, engineering, math (STEM) careers, health-related fields and licensed professions.
Students participate in classes and program activities Monday-Thursday from 9 AM to 3 PM during the STEP summer session that runs July 5-August 4, 2022.
