Consultations
Schedule a confidential consultation with Helga Yuan Larsen, the Director of Caregiving Initiatives & Programs, by completing this Intake Form. Topics typically cover:
- Guidance to make informed decisions about childcare (e.g. early childhood programs, after-school care, camps, nannies/sitters, etc.)
- Tools and resources to engage with the public and independent school systems, including admissions processes, to support your children’s education
- Navigating NYU’s benefit programs and resources specifically designed for your family-building and caregiving needs
Parenting Groups
Consider joining colleagues in a safe and confidential space for psychosocial support, while finding community through shared experiences. The current groups include
- New & Expectant Parents (for families of children under age 1)
- Parenting with Dr. Erin O’Connor (for families of children and pre-teens)
- Parenting Neurodivergent Kids (for families of children ages 7-13)
- Mindful Parenting Program (for families of children ages 7-13)
