Congratulations! We are so excited to welcome you to the NYU community. We want to celebrate your accomplishment and encourage you to take advantage of on-campus and virtual events taking place throughout the month of April.

In-Person Events (New York)

April 15th & 16th: Weekend on the Square

Our marquee admitted student weekend is taking place April 15th and 16th. For two days, admitted members of the NYU Class of 2027 are welcomed to our New York campuses to celebrate, connect, and learn first-hand what makes student life and academics at NYU so unique. 

Space for in-person events is limited, so register early! Registration for Weekend on the Square and all admitted student events will open on March 30.

Throughout April on select Mondays and Fridays, NYU is welcoming newly-admitted members of the Class of 2027 to our New York campus to attend a student-hosted panel and special campus tour.

Nervous about finding community at NYU? Don’t worry, we got you! Join the Center for Global Spiritual Life (GSL) for an interactive workshop geared toward building connections with new friends and creating community.

Financial Aid 101

Questions about you financial aid? Start here. Before signing up for a 1:1 with one of our financial aid counselors, get your FAQs answered at this live session! We’ll talk about how NYU’s Office of Financial Aid supports students (and families!) throughout your four years, walk you through how to navigate your financial aid package, and provide real-time answers to your most pressing financial aid questions.

At NYU, we recognize that your education is an investment and that may require additional guidance. Look no further than our Financial Aid appointments! You’ll have the opportunity to schedule a one-to-one session with an NYU Financial Officer where you can ask questions, and consider what financial options might be best for you and your family.

How Can I Succeed at NYU?

NYU is the largest private research university in the United States, which means our students have unmatched access to academic resources, opportunities, world-class faculty, and state of the art facilities. But navigating a large university like ours isn’t always easy. The Office of Student Success is here to help you make this big place feel small! In this session, you’ll get an overview of the people, technologies, and resources available to support you through your journey.

A Conversation for Parents and Families

The college journey is a transition that brings change for everyone – family members included! In this session, Jonathan B. Williams, Assistant Vice President for Undergraduate Admissions (and former NYU parent!) and panelists will talk about this transition and how to manage it successfully. You’ll also have a chance to ask questions directly with your admissions representatives.

Your Future In Focus

In our Future in Focus series, NYU Alums across a variety of communities, join current students in conversation to discuss their journey post-graduation and the experiences that shaped their time at NYU. Come with questions and a listening ear -- who knows what insightful gems you’re bound to hear!

Money Matters: Financial Education

You’ve reviewed your financial details – now what? In this session, Financial Education Program Director Natasha Bean highlights NYU resources to empower your financial knowledge and help you effectively manage your finances, from day one to graduation.

One of our NYU student ambassador tour guides will give you an insider's guide to life at NYU. We offer in-person campus tours on our Washington Square campus, and also a virtual tour option so that you can explore our campus however suits you best. Let current students show you around to learn insider secrets, like the best study spots, best places to eat on campus, everything you need to know about first-year residence halls, and much more. 

Residential Tours

It’s never too early to prepare for your transition to college, and this is the perfect place to start. Tune into @meetnyu on instagram to follow current students a they show you around first-year residence halls, from rooms to common spaces, while answering your questions about living on our campus without walls in real time.

Welcome Home Tour: View from a Violet

If you can't make it to campus, you can still get to know our campus without walls. Join us for a virtual Admitted Student Tour online and get to know more about everyday life at NYU from the people who are living it. Join us on the silver screen for a guided tour and insight with current students and admissions staff.

  • Give us a call. We love getting to talk to admitted students and their families. If you have questions about your offer of admission or just want to share your excitement with us, you can contact the admissions office by phone at +1-212-998-4500 or by email at admissions@nyu.edu. As a reminder the Admissions Office is open 9:00am-5:00pm ET (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays).
  • Show your NYU Pride. The NYU Bookstore is offering a discount to all newly admitted students. Log into the Admitted Student Portal for your discount!
  • Stay tuned for information on the Class of 2027 Discord server. The server will be a place where you can introduce yourself and connect with other admitted students, find answers to your new-to-NYU questions, and, most importantly, have fun! 
  • Like “NYU Class of 2027” on Facebook. Stay up to date on the latest news for the Class of 2027 as well as stories from current students, webinar invites, and more. Please note: This Facebook Page is the only official page or group for the Class of 2027 on Facebook. Any other group is not sponsored by the University and we urge you to be cautious of sharing any personal information with other groups.

Parents and Families of #NYU2027

We’d never forget about the parents and families that have helped their students reach this exceptional milestone. Keep an eye on your email for an invitation to join our Class of 2027 Parents & Families Facebook Group. We’ll also be hosting  virtual and in-person events for parents and family members for each of our degree-granting campuses in April. This is a chance to celebrate your student, hear from University leadership directly, and get any of your questions answered.
