Affiliate and Account Management (SailPoint)
The NYU Affiliate Management service enables IT onboarding for new members of the University community (such as contractors, visiting researchers, and family members of employees) who require an ID card or access to NYU electronic resources.
Affiliate and Account Management (SailPoint) requires the use of NYU VPN to connect from an off-campus location (outside of NYU's network).
About Affiliate and Account Management (SailPoint)
The Affiliate and Account Management (SailPoint) service enables IT onboarding for new members of the University community who require an ID card or access to NYU electronic resources. New employees plus affiliates of many types (such as contractors, visiting researchers, and family members of employees) may be sponsored for an NYU NetID and NYU ID card, and their records managed by sponsors on a continuing basis.

How to Request This Service
- Access self-service password set/reset: You can change your password on the NYU Start Page anytime. Selecting Log In if you know your password or Can't Log In if you don't remember your password or it has expired, then follow the on-screen prompts to reset your password.
- Request a new NetID or affiliation: Authorized sponsors can request a NetID or affiliation for new community members such as contractors and incoming employees by connecting to NYU’s Virtual Private Network (VPN) and logging into identity.it.nyu.edu with their NetID and password. Select "Request Affiliate," then select “Request Affiliate User” from the menu.
