Race in Trump's America

Race in Trump's America

NYU Washington, DC's student led initiative, DC Dialogues presented Race in Trump's America.

Since the 2016 Presidential Election and the inauguration of President Donald J. Trump there has been a surge in hate crimes and hateful speech toward people of color and minorities in the United States. This dialogue focused on how the policies and rhetoric of the Trump Administration affect these communities and what it means to be a person of color in Trump’s America, and how individuals can be allies for each other and how to be an advocate for equality.
