Figure includes tuition for full-time student status covering 12-18 points, deposit and required registration fees, and several program activities and excursions. For each point taken in excess of 18 points in a semester, there is an additional charge per point.
If your college or university has a partnership with NYU Global Academic Programs the cost of tuition may be less than the posted figures. Inquire with your study abroad office to find out if there is a partnership with NYU.
All NYU Washington DC students are required to live in NYU-arranged housing as a condition of enrollment. Most students live in double bedrooms in a two bedroom suite. Each suite has a bathroom and kitchen. A shared living space with a television is located on each floor (bedrooms/suites to not have cable hook-up). An extremely limited number of single rooms with private bathroom are available. NYU provides security personnel at the residence. A cancelation fee may be assessed if a student's written request to cancel the housing license be approved.
Students with immediate family living in the DC area may request a housing exemption by emailing email@example.com; requests must be received at least one month prior to the beginning of the term. Exemptions are rare, and must be approved by the program director.
There is no meal plan at NYU Washington DC. All students will have access to cooking facilities en suite. There will also be a concessions area on the lower level of the center -- hours of operation TBA.
Costs may include local transportation, food, and some local independent travel. All costs are estimated and may vary depending on the student's budget.
Some excursions and cultural activities are included in tuition costs.

NYU’s Electronic billing system is the official means of generating tuition bills for all enrolled students. Within a few weeks of registering for classes, students (with the exception of visiting students whose home schools choose to bill them directly for their term at NYU) will receive a message at their official NYU e-mail address notifying them that a bill for tuition, fees, and housing is now available.
