Once you have checked in and explored your new home please make sure to speak with the NYU Sydney staff. The team will help to orient you by pointing out local supermarkets, restaurants and public transport.

You can visit a local supermarket to stock up on supplies or if you are feeling adventurous you can take a walk around the neighbourhood. Newtown, Broadway, Darling Harbour and Chinatown are all within walking distance of your new home and these are great places to explore.

There are supermarkets and a variety of stores conveniently located near Regiment so you can pick up groceries as well as bathroom and kitchen supplies when you arrive. For shopping recommendations speak to a member of the NYU Sydney team.
