Due to visa requirements, students studying away in Sydney must enroll in at least ONE 6 credit point University of Sydney (USYD) course from the list of approved courses below. Note: 6 USYD credit points = 4 NYU credits

Important Note about NYU Sydney

Due to federal compliance restrictions, students who study away at NYU Sydney in the spring semester cannot take summer courses during any of NYU’s summer session(s) following their Spring semester in Sydney regardless of the class dates. This includes remote, in-person, asynchronous courses that do not conflict with the NYU Sydney calendar. Students will need to choose between studying away at NYU Sydney and taking summer courses during the same academic year (i.e., Students cannot take Summer 2024 courses if they are studying in Sydney Spring 2024).

Course listings are subject to change. Please check back regularly for updates and email global.academics@nyu.edu if you have any questions.

NYU Sydney Spring 2024 is aligned with USYD Semester 1 and therefore does not align with other NYU Global site calendars. Please refer to the NYU Sydney Calendar for most up to date information.
