How to Apply

We currently accepting applications for Summer 2020.

When applying, it is important that you familiarize yourself with the types of accommodations we offer, as well as our policies and procedures regarding initial payment, and canceling your reservation. As part of your application, you will be required to review and agree to the terms and conditions of the 2020 Summer Housing License.

The priority deadline for application submission for current NYU students and non-NYU students enrolling at NYU this summer is March 31, 2020.

1. Apply Online

To access the application:

  • Login to your NYU Global Home account with your Net ID and password.
  • In the search box in the upper-right, search for Housing Forms. When the card comes up, click the “GO” button.
  • This will bring you to the NYU Housing Portal. Locate ‘Summer 2020 - NYU New York’ and click “ACCESS APPLICATION”.
  • Please complete each step of the application carefully and follow all instructions.

Applicants will provide affiliation information, reservation dates, and roommate/suitemate requests on the application. Applicants will also be able to choose a specific residence hall and room type in the application.

2. Application Reservation Payment

Applicants are required to submit a $500 reservation payment with their application for Summer Housing.

The $500 reservation payment will be credited to the applicant’s account and will count towards overall summer housing costs. Please note, all requests to cancel NYU Summer Housing are subject to a cancellation fee.

Applicants may submit payment online or by mailing in a check or money order. Applications are not complete until payment is received.
