We have created a series of emails just for our new and transfer international students. These emails contain very important immigration information and various resources to help you acclimate to NYU and the US.

They are compiled here in a list and are added to this page as we send them. International students with Summer (May 15 - July 15) start dates begin receiving these emails in March; students with Fall start dates (August 1 - October 1) begin receiving these emails in July; students with Spring start dates (January 1 - March 1) begin receiving these emails in November.

Emails for Fall 2023 Newly International Admitted Students

Once you have an I-20 or DS-2019 from NYU you are automatically added to our new student email list. All emails listed below are linked once we send them.

Pre-Orientation  

Pre-Orientation is a series of webinars designed to give incoming international students and their families an opportunity to become familiar with the processes and procedures associated with being a student at NYU. In addition to immigration-focused webinars, we offer informational workshops designed to help students thrive at NYU.
