Official eTranscript Requests

  • If you are able to access NYUHome/Albert
    • Request an official eTranscript from your Albert Student Center.
      • The Request Official Transcript link can be found under the Grades & Transcripts section of Albert Student Center.
  • If you are unable to access NYUHome/Albert
Notes:
  • There is a fee for eTranscripts.
  • If you attended NYU more than once (ie attended an undergraduate college and then a graduate school), you will need to request one transcript for each career.
  • Students attending the School of Medicine must contact their school's record office directly to request a transcript.

Official Paper Transcript Requests

  • If you are able to access NYUHome/Albert
    • Request an official paper transcript from your Albert Student Center.
      • The Request Official Transcript link can be found under the Grades & Transcripts section of the Student Center. 
      • When ordering from Albert, a signed consent is not required.
  • If you are unable to access NYUHome/Albert

Paper copies of your transcript are provided at no cost.

Unofficial Transcripts

  • If you have access to Albert, view and print from your Student Center.
    • Navigate to the "Grades & Transcripts" section of the Student Center to generate. Select "View my unofficial transcript," and be sure your pop-up blocker is off on your browser.
      • Tip: Request an unofficial transcript to verify your degree and conferral date before you submit a request for an official transcript.
  • Note: The Registrar's Office does not issue unofficial transcripts. They must be printed by the student from Albert.
Processing Notes and Restrictions
  • Students attending the School of Medicine must contact their school's record office directly to request a transcript.
  • Transcripts cannot be produced for anyone whose record has been put on hold for an outstanding University obligation, such as a financial hold due to an owed balance or library fees.
  • Transcripts contain confidential academic information and are released in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA), and therefore will not be issued without authorization from the student/alumnus.
