Faculty in classroom

During the course evaluation period, faculty can monitor the response rate for their course(s) in real time in their Albert Faculty Center. Once the evaluation period has ended, and within an hour of all grades being posted for the course, faculty will see a “Final Evaluation Results” or a "Mid Term Evaluation Results" link where they can view all the responses, quantitative and qualitative, for their course.

Note that not all schools conduct midterm evaluations in Albert. For those that do, results can be viewed as soon as the evaluation period is over; mid-term grades do not have to be posted to view. Learn more about how to assist students in class with evaluations.

Viewing Final Evaluation Results

  3. Once the evaluation period is over, and within an hour of all grades being posted for the course, you will have two options:
    1. Viewing your final evaluation results on a webpage.
    2. Downloading your results as a PDF
  4. The results webpage will display all data for the course evaluation.
    1. Notes:
      1. Co-taught courses: instructors will see all responses to the University-wide questions, course questions, and recitation/lab questions (if applicable). However, they will only see the responses to the instructor-related questions that apply to them; instructors will not see each other’s instructor- related questions information.
      2. Labs and Recitations: the primary instructor for the lecture will see the associated lab/recitation's TA/Section leader(s) results as well. The TA/Section leader(s) will see only the results of their instructor-related questions.
    2. Two main sections of the results pages
      1. Evaluation responses, indicating the average, the percentage of students who responded, and answer details for a particular question.
        1. Click "Answer Details" to see the distribution of responses for a particular question.
      2. Course comments (if applicable), displaying the full comment for each qualitative question that had at least one comment.
        1. You can search for terms used in student comments by using the search bar on the comments page.
        2. Click “Student's Other Responses” to see the other quantitative answers provided by the student that wrote a particular comment.
  5. Click “Download Final Evaluation Results PDF” for a PDF of the full results. You may need to disable your browser's pop-up blocker to view.
