NYU MasterClass

What: 11 One-Hour Sessions
When: June 1–August 11

Enjoy one-hour masterclasses led by industry professionals who will teach the skills needed to succeed after NYU. Open to students and alumni of all skill levels, each class will focus on one topic that aligns with one of our Violet Ready skills. Classes are brought to you by the Wasserman Center for Career Development at NYU and are held in the afternoon during the lunch hour. Exact dates/times forthcoming.

Leadership Essentials Certificate

Gain the essential skills to lead with confidence and vision through short videos, worksheets, self-assessment exercises, and personalized feedback from a leadership educator. Students who complete all three learning modules receive a certificate of completion.

Fulbright Programming

Applying for the Fulbright U.S. Student Program? These sessions are here to support you in the application process. The Fulbright Scholarship provides funding to conduct independent research, pursue graduate study, or teach English in nearly 170 countries around the world.  Students and alumni interested in receiving NYU's endorsement for their applications should work with the Office of Global Awards.

Prestigious Scholarships Development Cohort

What: Weekly Sessions

Students wishing to receive NYU's nomination for the Rhodes, Marshall, or Mitchell Scholarships are required to participate in this summer development cohort. Develop personal narratives, explore relevant graduate program options, and cultivate writing skills in collaborative weekly sessions.

Public Service Development Cohort

Explore public service trajectories through the framework of the Truman Scholarship application.  Develop personal narratives, explore public service trajectories, cultivate networks, and explore leadership styles. This course is particularly useful for anyone applying for global awards such as the Truman, Udall, Boren, Pickering, and Rangel.
