In Albert, new students are called applicants. You will continue to only see the Applicant tab in Albert until you are matriculated by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions or for graduate students, your school/department.
Matriculated is the term used for when your status goes from applicant to student in Albert. Once you are matriculated, you will see the Student tab in Albert.
Graduate Stern students should follow their specific guide.

To log into Albert, you will need your NetID and password. Your netID is typically a combination of your initials and numbers, and can be found in an email titled "Your NYU Application Acknowledgement" if you don't remember it.
Albert can be accessed many ways, but the direct link is albert.nyu.edu.
If you have forgotten your password or need to activate your NetID, go to start.nyu.edu.
As an applicant, you will have the Home, Transfer Credits, and Financial Aid pages.
Once you have been matriculated by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions or for graduate students, your school/department, you will also see the Student tab.
As a student, you will have the Home, Academics, Grades & Transcripts, Finances, and Personal Info pages.
