About the Seventh Street and Alumni Hall (7A) Partnership

Welcome to Seventh Street, formerly known as Green House! Located in the heart of the East Village, this residence hall is located on the south side of 7th Street, in between 2nd and 3rd Avenues. Approximately 90 upperclass students call this dynamic and diverse community home. At Seventh Street, we share our programs and our staff with our East Village neighbors in Alumni Hall. Together these two buildings make up the 7A Partnership.

Seventh Street consists mostly of quads, where four residents share some of the largest apartments on campus. The rooms have large closets and plenty of space for studying in your room. Common areas have a fridge, sink, and cabinets as well as a couch, table, and chairs. Seventh Street has recently renovated lounges: a communal TV lounge with a beautiful kitchen, a study lounge, and a game room with table tennis and foosball. There is also a bike storage room on the first floor, as well as a lending library. Laundry is in the basement.

This hall is located approximately 0.5 miles (0.8 km) from Washington Square Park. The closest NYU Shuttle stop is at 13th St and 3rd Ave, served by the Route C Shuttle. The closest dining location is NYU Eats at Third North, located on 12th St and 3rd Ave.
