What are Wasserman Career Ambassadors?

The Wasserman Career Ambassadors (WCAs) are trained undergraduate student leaders who provide career development programming, resources, and services to their peers. The WCA program is a cohort model established to build and maintain relationships between the career center and the NYU community on campus.

WCAs serve the Wasserman Center and the NYU undergraduate community by:

  1. Providing targeted career education workshops to undergraduate clubs, Greek Life organizations, residence halls, and academic and administrative departments
  2. Promoting Wasserman via tabling events and conducting basic resume reviews on-site
  3. Encouraging peers to actively engage in their career exploration and development

Workshops offered by the WCAs:

  1. Overview of Wasserman resources and services
  2. Resume Basics
  3. Cover Letter Basics
  4. Networking Basics
  5. Interview Basics

Please fill out the Undergrad Presentation request form to request a workshop or other service.
