Housing Reservation Payment
If you’ll be living on campus during your time at New York University, it’s important to know when and how to reserve housing for yourself.

Academic Year Housing
A non-transferable/non-refundable $1,000 Housing Reservation Payment is required for most housing applicants to reserve academic year housing. You must also complete the NYU Housing Application. Find additional information and important dates about Applying for Housing.
Deadline for the Spring 2023 semester: November 15, 2022 (housing application available October 15, 2022)

Please note: Students admitted after May 1, 2022 should complete their 2022-2023 housing applications and submit the $1,000 housing reservation payment by the enrollment deadline provided by the Admissions Office.
Summer Housing
Summer housing applicants must submit a non-transferable/non-refundable $500 reservation payment within one week of completing the Summer Housing application.
NYU Summer Housing is available to both students and non-students, and can be applied for throughout the summer semester.
How to Make a Payment
You can pay for your academic year or summer housing reservation through eDeposit, by check or money order, or by international payment.
To pay via eDeposit:
- Log in to Albert to get to eSuite
- Click the “Finances” tab
- Next, click “View Bursar Account”
- Then, click the link that reads “Click here to continue to the NYU Office of the Bursar eSuite"
- Next click the “Deposits” tab
- Select the period you’re paying for in the first drop-down menu
- Select "Fall Housing Reservation Fee" or "Summer Housing Reservation Payment" in the second drop-down menu
If you aren’t responsible for paying your tuition, you can give access to the person who is through eSuite.

When you pay by check, you must also include a completed Summer Reservation Payment Form with your payment.
