Important Notice About Your Bursar Bill
This Notice concerns the Fall 2017 health insurance charge on your student account. The Fall 2017 health insurance charge on your bill will initially reflect the full insurance charge for the semester. Once the add/drop period is over and your union eligibility is confirmed, your Local 2110 UAW 90% discount of the Fall 2017 Basic health insurance premium charge will be reflected on your account.
We recognize that the reconciliation will occur after the payment due date on the account statement. As an accommodation, Fall 2017 Local 2110 UAW graduate employees shall be required to pay all charges on the Fall 2017 bill less the amount of the health insurance charge by the due date. In other words, graduate employees must pay all charges for tuition, registration and services fees, and any other fees, charges, etc. on their bills, except for the full insurance charge, by September 19th.
An updated student account statement will be issued to you once your union eligibility is confirmed.
If you select the Comprehensive health insurance coverage, your updated student account statement will reflect the 90% discount on the Basic health insurance premium, plus the additional charge for the Comprehensive health insurance premium.
