Counseling and Wellness Services

CWS offers a variety of mindfulness services, including individual options and Wellness Workshops.

Individual Counseling

Students seeking individual counseling may request to work with a therapist on our Mindfulness Team. In addition to their generalist skills, these therapists also have specialized experience utilizing mindfulness techniques in therapy.

Individual Mindfulness Consultations

The mindfulness consultation is a 2- to 3-session intervention offered to students as either an adjunct to individual/group psychotherapy or a stand-alone service. Students will meet individually with a member of the CWS Mindfulness Team, and will have the opportunity to learn about the benefits of mindfulness for symptom reduction and overall psychological well-being; to learn basic mindfulness skills; and to develop a customized mindfulness plan.
