Leadership Research and Courses
NYU offers unique opportunities to explore leadership with top faculty from diverse fields whose research and teaching are contributing to breakthrough knowledge about how leadership is practiced and developed around the world.
The Research Center for Leadership in Action (RCLA) at NYU's Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service is the research partner for the NYU Leadership Initiative.
RCLA builds leadership that makes democracy work. The Center's scholars conduct rigorous and innovative research on leadership for the public good, and RCLA offers customized leadership development and capacity-building programs for individuals, teams and organizations working across public service - from small community-based nonprofits to large government agencies.
Faculty within NYU’s 19 schools and colleges teach cutting-edge courses on leadership at the undergraduate and graduate levels, each offering a unique vantage point on the knowledge and skills needed to lead teams and manage organizations, envision and deliver innovative solutions, shape public discourse, address current social issues, and more.
