The NYU Social Sector Leadership Diversity Fellowship (SSLD) is an 18-month leadership development program that equips graduate students of color with the skills, knowledge, and networks needed to take up leadership roles in organizations across the social sector.
Current SSLD fellows represent various NYU graduate programs, including the School of Global Public Health, Gallatin School of Individualized Study, Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development, Wagner School of Public Service, Stern School of Business, Silver School of Social Work, and the NYU School of Law. Their interests range from founding social ventures to running governmental agencies. We believe the racial, ethnic, and intellectual diversity of our fellows enhances the cohort experience and helps form enduring support networks that they can rely upon over their professional careers.
