  • Discussion by Tim Kaine, U.S. Senator from the state of Virginia, and Ralph Northam, Governor of the state of Virginia. They met with students for a dialogue on American politics. Students had the opportunity to ask questions about their careers as well as current political issues.

  • Presentation by Shawn Stokes, Director of the Office of Human Resources for Montgomery County Government. She discussed best practices for new talent acquisition, negotiations, and related human resources issues.
  • Discussion and presentation by filmmakers from The Video Consortium. Some of the world’s leading video journalists and nonfiction filmmakers co-hosted an evening of LGBTQ+ films and discussion.
