Getting involved as a new student at NYU is an important part of your adjustment to NYU and NYC. Fortunately, there are dozens of ways to get involved at NYU – in fact, there are so many involvement opportunities, they can sometimes be overwhelming! If you ask any student, getting involved helps you to feel more connected at NYU and assists in experiencing a greater sense of community at the University. We encourage you to explore the links to the right on this page to learn more about all the opportunities available at NYU. A great place to start is with events and programs designed specifically by and for transfer and visiting students to NYU.

Whether you're transferring to NYU from a community college, university, returning to NYU after studying abroad during your first semester or visiting, you can sign up to be be in a cohort of fellow Transfer and Transitioning students each who are matched with a Transfer Ambassador (TA).
