Effective strategies for building and growing a mindfulness program on your campus, from launch to assessment

Methodologies for deepening your own mindfulness practice, avoiding burnout, and leading meditation safely and responsibly — even as a beginner

Tools for fostering the leadership of and community for underserved populations and tying your program to social good

At the conclusion of the Institute, participants will receive a certificate in Mindful Leadership in Higher Education, and will have the opportunity to apply for micro-grants ($300-$1000) to help seed new mindfulness programs in their communities. Additionally, this year, the Summer Institute will be followed by an optional Trauma-Informed Outreach Yoga Intensive weekend run by the Connection Coalition.

Program Fee includes tuition, materials, daily breakfast, coffee/tea and snacks, with lunch on your own. Lodging and travel should be organized independently. Discounted NYU housing is available upon request. Email aae251@nyu.edu with any questions.

Financial aid for the Institute is available and will be awarded on a rolling basis. There are also a limited number of opportunities for graduate students to volunteer at the Institute and attend at no cost.
