Student achievement initiatives engage students of underrepresented backgrounds from their first year through graduation to provide holistic development opportunities and resources for personal, social, academic, and professional growth.
FOCUS is a structured mentorship program designed to offer first and second year undergraduate students who identify as first generation college students and/or students of color the opportunity to develop relationships with NYU Alumni, Faculty, Staff, Graduate Students or other professionals who can serve as resources and/or advocates through establishing an ongoing mentoring relationship. This year long provides an opportunity for meaningful and lasting mentorship relationships to be built.
