Student Exam FAQs
Medical, Nursing, Dental and Law exams are administered within their own schools.
Physics at NYU Tandon
The Physics department at NYU Tandon generally administers its own undergraduate accommodated exams. Please make sure to request accommodation letters for physics classes through the portal, but you do not generally need to use the portal to schedule exams in these classes. Contact the Physics department for information about exam location.
If you are ever unsure about arrangements for an accommodated exam for any department, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Before the Exam
When is the deadline to schedule an exam?
An exam must be scheduled with the Moses Exam Center at least seven (7) calendar days before the exam is to occur.
What do I do if I miss the deadline to schedule an exam?
The best way to try to schedule an exam is to come to the Moses CSA during drop-in hours: 1-3PM, Monday through Friday. Space is not guaranteed for late requests.
What if I requested an alternative time, and it's not listed correctly in "My Upcoming Events"?
I know the dates of my upcoming exams. How soon can I book them through the Moses Exam Center?
Exams can be entered as early as the first day of the semester. Make sure to book exams at least 7 days in advance through the Student Online Services Portal.
My professor rescheduled the class exam. What do I do?
If you need to reschedule your exam with the Moses Exam Center, then contact email@example.com with the course and the new exam date/time. If available, forward any correspondence from the professor regarding the new time.
How will the Moses Exam Center get the exam from the professor?
The professor will communicate with Moses Exam Center on the delivery method. You may need to deliver the exam to the Moses Exam Center.
During the Exam
What if I miss an exam?
Contact your professor immediately and ask what your options are. The Moses Exam Center cannot reschedule exams without specific instructions to do so by your professor.
What if I am late for an exam?
The exam will begin on time. If you are late arriving for an exam at the Moses Exam Center, then you will not be refunded the lost time.
What can I bring with me into the exam room?

After the Exam
How will the completed exam get to the professor?
