Comm*Unity is a service learning experience focused on bringing together service-minded first-year commuter students to participate in community service projects. The program provides an opportunity for students to develop leadership skills, strong friendships, and share rewarding experiences while engaging in uplifting community service.

During the year, participants will attend various cultural and service outings throughout NYC. These outings build up to an Alternative Break trip during Spring Break to work with a resettled refugee population. An Alternative Break trip involves a group of students participating in a week of service during Spring Break.

The Comm*Unity experience is led by 2 student advisors and a graduate student.
