Since graduating from NYU's Wagner School of Public Service in 2009, Theresa has worked for Resources for Human Development (RHD), a $240 million human services non-profit headquartered in Philadelphia. As the Director of Strategic Initiatives, Theresa manages the organization's strategic planning efforts, and she oversees the internal communications and EHR departments. She will be presenting for the first time on leading an successful strategic planning process in October 2016 at the PAR Solutions Conference (Pennsylvania Advocacy and Resources for Autism and Intellectual Disability). Theresa has also worked as adjust professor at Harcum College. She teaches Sociology 101 and Marriage and The Family, primarily. She is also the Board Chair of the Bucknell University Public Interest Program. Prior to graduating, Theresa worked on communications and marketing at Coro New York Leadership Center, Acumen Fund and The Washington Post.com. At Wagner, she was VP of Communications for Bridge: Wagner Students for Social Entrepreneurship, helping to launch the group's first NYU-wide conference, From Innovation to Impact, which won the 2009 President's Public Service Award. Theresa and her husband, David, live in Jenkintown, PA outside of Philadelphia, with their son, Tyler, and dog, Leia. She is expecting her second child (a daughter) in December 2016.
