For her commitment to community service at Yale and New Haven, Yale awarded Larisa its "Pro Bono Publico" prize.
After graduating from Yale Larisa worked as a Program Officer at the Robin Hood Foundation, a public charity whose mission is to fight poverty in New York City by funding and providing technical assistance to the best non-profits. She helped develop the organization's charitable investments in workforce development programs, with a focus on health, technology and green-collar jobs.
Larisa pursued her Master's of Business Administration at the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at NYU. During the summer between her first and second year, Larisa worked in management consulting at Booz & Company, working across industries with a focus on organization change and leadership. Combining her business acumen and commitment to social enterprise she hopes to create sustainable and profitable businesses that lift communities out of poverty through wealth creation.
