Andrea Hollen is the Director of Analytics and Research at Case Commons, a nonprofit social venture incubated by the Annie E. Casey Foundation. Case Commons is a technology startup focused on developing Casebook, a unique web-based, family-centric case management platform that melds best practice in Human Services with the state of the art in software technology, including social networking, visual media and analytics. Casebook is in production across Casey Family Services, operating in seven states, and recently went live as the system of record for Indiana’s Child Welfare system. Case Commons is also pursuing influence strategies to spur systemic changes, including innovative funding mechanisms at federal and state levels that could speed adoption of web 2.0 technologies and software-as-a-service models in government.
In 1980, Andrea was the first woman to graduate from West Point and she went on to lead soldiers for 10 years as a Signal Officer in the U.S. Army.
