Nanyang Technopreneurship Center Capstone Visit

May 11, 2017

On May 11 and 12, 2017, the NYU Social Entrepreneurship Program welcomed over 100 graduate students from the Nanyang Technopreneurship Center at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. We were thrilled to host this exceptional group of entrepreneurs for a two days of sessions focused on social impact across industries and technology companies in New York and the value of place in social entrepreneurship work. The students had the opportunity to hear from a panel of social entrepreneurial practitioners and leaders who have built companies of all kinds and are true experts in their fields. On each day, the students then divided into breakout groups that allowed them to explore learnings from the panel.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, including the panelists and breakout facilitators from organizations across New York and the entire staff at the Nanyang Technopreneurship Center, including Dr. Hooi den Huan, Rick Tay, Dr. Xia Zhiqiang, Chen Yihan, Gene Seow, Chen Fang, and Claire Tan.

Each breakout group then had the opportunity to share their learnings with the full group of students and panelists.
