NYU-KAIST Intelligent Health Engineering research group brings NYU's leading biomedical imaging, biophotonics, and bioengineering research together with KAIST's deep expertise in semiconductors and device engineering, paving the way for new innovations in the multifaceted monitoring of human health. By leveraging the power of KAIST, NYU's Tandon School of Engineering, and NYU's Grossman Medical School, and by building on their combined track record of translating new technologies rapidly into practical use, this initiative is poised to change the paradigm of healthcare in the next decade shifting it from its current episodic model to a more continuous model of individualized monitoring and prevention.
