The Enrollment Verification will provide details on whether you are enrolled full-time, half-time or less than half-time for the current semester or for all of the semesters that you have been enrolled at NYU. Enrollment certifications are frequently needed to verify your eligibility for health insurance coverage, certain types of financial aid, and for other services that are available to individuals enrolled in colleges and universities.
New York University has two procedures for obtaining enrollment verification documents. NYU students can obtain verification directly from the Office of the University Registrar while third party verifications should be requested through the National Student Clearinghouse.

- Student request procedure - Signed Letter
- Third-party request procedure
Polytechnic School of Engineering Students: Please note that you can now request your Advanced Registration Certificate on Albert's Summer 2014 and Future Terms Student Center. This feature can be accessed from the "Request enrollment verification" link in the My Academics section of Student Center. Once you are on the National Student Clearinghouse student portal, make sure you select the "Advanced Registration" option before clicking on the "Obtain an enrollment certificate" link.
Please note that if you are not a NYU student or alumnus, you must follow the instructions outlined in the third-party request procedure.

You can view/print your own enrollment certification directly from Albert using integrated National Student Clearinghouse student portal. This feature can be accessed from the "Request enrollment verification" link in the My Academics section of Student Center.
Eligible students are also able to view/print a Good Student Discount Certificate, which can be mailed to an auto insurer or any other company that requests proof of your status as a good student (based on your cumulative GPA).
Polytechnic School of Engineering students can currently request only their Summer 2014 Advanced Registration certificate from Albert.
For all students whose last active enrollment has been 18 months or longer, please follow the instructions below.
