Explore the beautiful Bohemian Forest - along the border of Germany and the Czech Republic - on snow shoes!  This region was once a no-man's-land under Communist Czechoslovakia because of its proximity the the West, leaving the nature untouched for forty years.  One of four national parks in the Czech Republic, it is a popular place for winter sports.  Students meet llama and sheep along the way, visiting a family farm and wool manufacturer and trying their hands at felting.
