Studying at our French Partner Universities and Institutes

Courses at our Partner Universities and Institutes are offered in both English and French.

Students interested in enriching their immersion experience in Paris should strongly consider taking a course at one of the French Universities campuses with which NYU has a partnership agreement and that offer high quality teaching. These include the University of Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne, University of Paris 3 Sorbonne Nouvelle, University of Paris 7 Paris Diderot (also called University of Paris), University Paris Dauphine PSL and the prestigious Institute of SciencesPo.

Be sure to take the time to look through the course offerings below in order to make the choice that best fits your academic interests.  Please note that the course offerings listed here are for reference only and are subject to change.

Procedures for enrolling with Paris 1, Paris 3 and Paris 7 Universities.

In order to take a course at the University of Paris you must first be administratively enrolled at that university. You will be asked to choose which university you want to administratively enroll in when you fill out your University of Paris Registration Form on your Enrollment Portal. This will lead to deadlines and specific procedure instructions that must be scrupulously respected.

Online/Remote-Taught Courses available to Study Away Students

Students may compliment their local course load by enrolling in an online or remote-taught course. Some of NYU's online courses can be found using the Instruction Mode filter in the Albert Course Search. Please keep in mind that you must be enrolled in at least 12 credits of courses at your study away site (remote-taught/online courses do not count towards the 12 credit minimum requirement). Note, online/remote taught courses are not scheduled on the same session as the courses offered by the study away site, add/drop dates and other academic deadlines will vary. Please refer to Albert course notes for more details. Online/remote taught course commitments should not interfere with student attendance in local classes and required program activities (including orientation).
