Contact tracing is key to slowing the spread of COVID-19 and helps keep you, your friends, and family, and the NYU community safer. Led by the NYU COVID-19 Prevention & Response Team, in coordination with NYC Test & Trace Corps, contact tracing within the NYU community involves identifying people who have COVID-19 (cases) and people who they came in contact with (contacts) and working with them to interrupt disease spread. This includes making sure that people with COVID-19 can safely isolate and their contacts to quarantine at home.
