Dear NYU Affiliate:

At the end of last semester, NYU announced that all members of the university community who are eligible for a COVID-19 booster, must be fully boosted against COVID-19 by January 18, 2022.

As an affiliate of the university who is approved to be on campus, the same requirements apply to you. On January 10, you received a similar message requiring all booster eligible affiliates to have their booster by January 18 as a condition of continued access to NYU’s campus. Our expectation is that, if you have been on NYU’s campus since then, you are in compliance with the vaccine and booster requirements.

We also said we would provide the instructions to upload your booster later in January.  Below, you will find the link to upload your booster and information that will help you to better understand and comply with this policy in order to keep our community safe.

Proof of Booster Due by Monday, February 14

Beginning today, January 31, you can now upload your proof of booster against COVID-19 via the link below.

Upload Vaccine Booster

Effective February 14, to maintain access to NYU’s academic and administrative buildings, all NYU affiliates who are booster eligible must have a reviewed and validated proof of booster against COVID-19.

If you have questions about uploading your information, please contact the NYU Extended Community Support Team.

Daily Screener

The Daily Screener is still required for entry into all NYU buildings, events, and activities. All affiliates with a 1) validated proof of vaccination and booster, if eligible, or 2) an approved exemption AND a recent negative COVID-19 PCR test result will see a green “PASS” screen without having to answer screening questions.

Masks

NYU continues to require masking in indoor spaces; given the emergence of the COVID-19 variants, we expect to continue that practice at least through the spring 2022 semester. There are new mask requirements (in particular, cloth masks are not permitted.) Many of us have been relying on cloth masks; it’s now time to change. Acceptable masks for the spring semester include:

  • Disposable masks (surgical or medical procedure masks)
  • KN95 masks
  • KF94 mask
  • N95 masks
