On-Campus Resident COVID-19 Testing
To: Students in Residence Halls
From: NYU Residential Life and Housing Services
Date: Saturday, January 30, 2021
Test kits are available to pick-up at the Resource Center!
As a reminder, students living in NYU residence halls, such as yourself, are required to get tested for COVID-19 every week using the saliva test which can be picked-up and returned in your residence hall. If you are in a building that does not have a resource center you will pick-up and return a test from the residence hall designated for your building:
- Students in Clark will go to Othmer.
- Students in Seventh Street will go to Alumni.
- Students in Stuy will go to Palladium.
- Students in WSV will go to Goddard.
The Resource Center is open from noon - 8 PM, everyday. When coming to pick up a kit, be mindful of NYU policies and guidance related to physical distancing and be sure to wear a mask. Take advantage of times you are already going to the RC and pick up a kit when you are getting a package, garbage bags or toilet paper.
While you can pick your test kit up any day -- in fact, we encourage you to pick it up this weekend -- you should produce the sample and return the kit between noon - 4 PM on your scheduled test day based on the first letter of your last name. Be aware that the schedule of testing has shifted from five to three days each week.
- Monday: A - H
- Tuesday: I - P
- Wednesday: Q - Z
Regular testing is an important component of our multilayered health and safety plan. Failure to adhere to weekly testing may result in disabling of the Daily Screener which is needed to enter academic and administrative buildings or referral to the Office of Student Conduct.
Thank you for doing your part to help protect the health and safety of the NYU community.
