Research Operations During COVID19
Date: Thursday, March 12, 2020
To: NYU Research Community
Dear Research Colleagues,
During this time of remote administration and instruction, research operations within the Office of the Vice Provost for Research (OVPR) will remain available to you. OVPR units have full capability and the capacity to provide continuous and timely service and support to faculty, researchers, postdocs and students.
University buildings will remain open for laboratory access, however you are strongly encouraged to promote remote work and to communicate with your departments and schools to coordinate dry research activities and wet lab experimentation.
The NYU COVID-19 website's Research and Laboratories page provides current information on research operations, including human and animal subjects, sponsored projects, technology transfer, post-doctoral affairs, conflict of interest and research integrity, lab safety, and general issues related to pressing pause on research projects. As the situation is changing rapidly, please check the website for real time updates given the dynamic nature of the health situation.
Our main goals are research preservation and funding continuity. As always, I am available for questions and concerns.
