Against a national backdrop of 175,000+ new COVID-19 cases and 1,000+ COVID deaths per day (and climbing), a worsening local situation, and new, sharper guidance about Thanksgiving from the CDC urging that no one travel for the holiday, we urge NYU employees not to travel for Thanksgiving, not even to a nearby home just for the Thanksgiving meal. Limit your Thanksgiving meal to those with whom you are currently living.
