Dear Employee,

NYU’s records reflect that you have missed yesterday’s deadline for uploading proof of your booster vaccination.

This is a problem. Getting a booster shot and uploading proof is a requirement; without an uploaded and accepted proof of your booster shot, you will be restricted from all facilities except your workplace building, unable to participate in any NYU events or gatherings, and prohibited from eating inside any NYU building. In addition, you will be required to test weekly through the University’s testing; without a negative result within the prior seven days, you will be unable to enter NYU buildings, including your workplace (remote work may not be substituted for expected appearances).

You should act immediately to correct your non-compliance — get the booster and upload it. If you have already received a booster, upload proof immediately*. If you have not received a booster shot, get one as soon as possible, and upload proof of the vaccination right after you receive the shot.

Take Note: Because you missed the deadline, there will be lags in verifying uploads; during that period, you may not have access to NYU buildings other than your workplace for several days.

*If you believe you have received this email in error because you have already uploaded, please remember that it takes 4-5 days for your uploaded proof to be verified by someone on the Immunization Team. Please wait 4-5 days after you upload and check your status by logging into the Student Health Center Portal, making your way to the page with your name, and looking for “immunizations” in the navigation column on the left. If you see the date of your booster shot in your immunization history, then you are all set.
