IMPORTANT: You Need to Comply with NYU’s Booster Requirement
Date: February 11, 2022
To: Non-compliant NYU Students
From: Dr. Carlo Ciotoli, Vice President for Campus Health
One of our most effective safeguards against COVID-19 has been having our community stay up-to-date with their COVID vaccinations, including boosters. Even though you are eligible to receive a booster, we have no record that you have done so.
For a host of reasons — starting with the responsibility we all have to each other’s well-being, but also because you are facing de-enrollment if you don’t act — it’s important that you comply immediately with NYU’s booster requirement.
Today marks the start of the two-week process for de-enrolling students who are in your situation from their in-person and blended classes in the U.S.
We do not want that to happen to you. So, please, we are urging you in the strongest possible terms to take action immediately:
- If you already received the booster and uploaded proof but it was not accepted, please contact health.requirements@nyu.edu to resolve the issue ASAP
- If you have already received your booster shot but haven’t uploaded proof of it, please upload it immediately
- If you haven’t received your booster shot, schedule it immediately, and upload the proof immediately after receiving it
- If you believe you are receiving this in error, contact health.requirements@nyu.edu.
Students who are de-enrolled due to non-compliance with NYU’s vaccine requirements will be subject to NYU’s refund deadlines. Given the seriousness of this matter, we advise you to reach out to your academic advisor or your school’s academic advising office right away to discuss your options.
