Dear NYU Affiliate:

Before the holiday break, NYU announced that all members of the University community (except those with approved exemptions) who are eligible for a COVID-19 booster shot must upload proof of a booster before the start of the spring 2022 semester.

As an NYU affiliate who is approved to be on campus, the same booster requirement applies to you. In other words, unless you are ineligible or have an approved exemption, you must receive a COVID-19 booster vaccination and upload proof to maintain access to NYU buildings for the spring 2022 semester.
Below, you will find information that will help you to better understand and comply with this policy in order to keep our community safe.

Obtain a Booster Shot by Tuesday, January 18

NYU requires all members of the University community, including affiliates approved and planning to be on campus during the spring 2022 semester, to have obtained a booster shot by Tuesday, January 18, 2022.

Later this month, you will receive instructions for uploading proof of a booster vaccination.

After January 18, 2022, those who have not obtained a booster vaccination should not attempt to enter any NYU buildings. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in the loss of campus access privileges.

People who previously received exemptions from NYU’s vaccination requirement will remain exempted from the booster requirement and will need to submit a negative test result as a condition of campus access.
