The Emergency Coordinators serve as a liaison and champion of their schools or departments to help improve preparedness across the University.
As a subject matter expert in their environment, they represent their schools and departments during times of emergency, providing critical information and assisting with decision making. They also have the authority to make decisions on behalf of their school or department during these emergent events.
Emergency Coordinators also play a role in continuity planning for their individual teams.
